Monica Austin
Monica Austin is a Midwest Country Music artist from the Quad City Area. Her slice-of-life writing style and swing for the fences stage show are a refreshing, honest representation of growing up in the Heartland and have earned a fiercely loyal fanbase there. Monica’s brand of country music didn’t originate on a farm, but rather a little trailer park in Cambridge, IL. Her tendency to perform in bare feet over the genre-standard cowgirl boots is nearly as indicative of her journey as her lyrics. Often referred to as a “powerhouse vocalist”, Monica’s soaring belt and soulful grit reflect the influence of 90’s Country stars like Wynonna Judd and Faith Hill. Her proven ability to pull an audience into a performance has earned her stage time with some of the most celebrated A-list artist of both the 90’s and today. Monica is currently headlining the “Midwest Mama” tour, promoting her 2023 album of the same name. She currently holds the title of Midwest Country Music Organization Entertainer of the Year.
